Assembly and cleaning time is considerably decreased, at the same time as maximising safety. The customer is the main beneficiary of the system, because now it is finally possible to have the beauty of an extremely stylish chandelier without the difficulty of assembling it.
VOLTOLINA
The Voltolina trademark is synonymous with Glass and Crystal. In 1984 the Voltolina brothers, heirs to a long Venetian tradition in the processing of glass, decided to diversify their manufacturing by producing high quality cut glass for lighting systems. Using their experience to source the perfect raw materials and introducing innovative new technologies they have established the company as a world leader in its field. Today the Voltolina team work from an 80.000 square meters production facility and employ over 700 people and have strategically important facilities in Spain, Rumania, Morocco and Tunisia.
In addition to cut glass, in 2000 the company began production of artistic glass in Murano and gorgeous high quality lead free crystal. This versatility and expertise has enabled the company to become a leader in a wide variety of market sectors. Customer demand for Voltalina’s unique combination of design, quality and support has driven a steady increase in sales across the globe. The natural next step was to make the ranges available through a network of prestigious showrooms in cities from Venice to New York and Casablanca to Dubai. In keeping with the traditions of the company, at the turn of this century they introduced a revolutionary design for lamp assembly called "The Leonardo System" this system allows even the most elaborate lamp to be assembled without touching the electrical components, making the process quicker and safer, unsurprisingly this has become a leader in its field.
In 2009 the team decided to take a bold step and establish a business that would retrace the original traditions of Venetian glass blowing and recreate them in the "old Fashioned way". A new company was formed based on the island of Murano called "MURANOLAB 1291" and true to the original plan it is producing Beautiful crafted pieces for clients all over the world.
